Sponsored by New Pioneer Co-op
Pollinators have been in the news a lot lately - they're an incredibly important part of a healthy ecosystem and are responsible for much of our food production. We all have a role to play in ensuring their success. Join Master Naturalist and New Pi staffer Eric Miller in learning how to establish your own pollinator garden at home. Eric will walk us through the processes of choosing the right plants for our ecosystem, and discuss strategies to plan for visual impact. We will join Eric outside of the Coralville Co-op and break ground, taking an active part in establishing a new pollinator bed at the store. Participants will receive seeds to carry home and create their own pollinator paradise. Cost is $15.
