About the Event
Herbs growing in our bioregion can be some of our best helpers in difficult times. Find out how these plants can be used in first aid situations. Learn how to source or grow them yourself in different landscapes.
This class gives a hands-on approach to herbal first aid, mostly in minor situations like cuts, bumps, and household events, also in dealing with some burns, pains, and digestive upsets.
We will identify and prepare medicinal herbs for hypothetical scenarios of need and consider different categories of need and actions of herbs. We will look at crisis situations that call for quick at-hand knowledge and decision making.
You are invited no matter your level of gardening experience or knowledge of the herbal arts. All are welcome.
