About the Event
Join us for a guided one-mile hike, where you'll explore the fascinating realm of fungi hiding in plain sight. Along the way, you'll learn the basics of mushroom biology, how fungi sustain and heal ecosystems, and how to identify various species. We'll also cover ethical foraging practices, including the principles of the Honorable Harvest, Leave No Trace, animism, and local laws.
This experience is a chance to slow down, connect with the rhythms of the forest, and deepen your relationship with nature. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned nature lover, all are welcome to discover the wonder beneath our feet.
Please contact us before class if mobility accommodations may be needed.
