About the Event
Join us for a series of classes that will guide you through the process of creating new pollinator habitat in your landscape.
Through monthly hands-on classes, you’ll learn how to plan, prepare, seed, plant, and care for a beautiful oasis for your buzzing and fluttering friends. An emphasis will be placed on enhancing curb appeal and keeping maintenance as low as possible.
In addition to meeting new like-minded friends, you'll take home skills, handouts, and a sampling of seeds.
Beginning in May, we’ll gather six times, meeting every second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm at Wetherby Edible Forest.
- May 8: Planning Your Pollinator Garden (and Bed Clean-Up)
- Jun 12: Assessing New Growth
- Jul 10: Weed/Bloom Management and Solarizing
- Aug 14: Upkeep and Pest Management
- Sep 11: Seed Collection and New Plugs
