About the Event
Get the whole family involved in building a bat house with this exciting hands-on class. You'll be provided with all the necessary tools and supplies to construct a bat house from a fun kit designed to resemble a bat.
As you build your cozy bat homes, you'll discover the often-overlooked value of these fascinating creatures and learn about the native bat species in Iowa. You'll also receive guidance on where to hang your completed bat house to create a safe haven for your fluttering friends.
All skill levels are welcome, so everyone can enjoy the experience of building a bat house to make a positive impact on our environment.
